I have come to the conclusion that for the most part, the art of courting and dating has drastically fallen to the way side. I am an excellent judge of this dilemma because I get 100’s upon 100’s of direct messages, emails and text messages per day. It ails me to see so many of them with no more than two words (if that) each.
The spoken word, the written words, the feelings of one’s heart are lost in an emoji. The sending of cards and gifts and flowers and tokens of love are no longer on the table for some reason, even though you can have virtually anything on the planet delivered anywhere in less than 24 hours.
My suspicions that the art of dating was lost and falling to the wayside were validated when after I joined a group on Reddit called “how to pick up chicks” to see what guys were up to and the advice they were giving and receiving on this seemingly lost art. I saw first hand that good ‘ol tried and true romance and dating tips given by myself were scoffed by a few (misogynist or uneducated?) and my heart just poured out to them knowing they would be lost in the dating game until they embraced a skill set that works.
A skill set, a tool box of ideas, gestures, mind sets and advice from a woman – me – that knows what women and gals want. Thus, it is my extreme pleasure to offer my services as a dating coach.
